Salmonella samples to the laboratory over Bank Holidays
Due to National Bank Holidays on Monday 1st May Monday 8th May and Monday 29th May, there will be no deliveries or collections by Royal Mail to Newbridge Scientific Sheriff Hutton and Newbridge Scientific Edinburgh.
Please post your samples to us no later than Wednesday of every week to ensure your sample can be delivered within the 4-day testing limit. If you think this will not be possible, please contact us in advance so we can try to help.
We are pleased to confirm that Newbridge Edinburgh will be processing samples and reporting results throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.

PHS Opening hours for bank holidays and The King’s Coronation
We have three bank holiday weekends in May, including a special bank holiday weekend for the King’s Coronation. Please ensure that you place any vaccine orders in advance. This ensures that the team can process and dispatch your orders prior to the bank holidays. Our offices will be CLOSED on Monday 1st May, Monday 8th May and Monday 29th May but a local on call vet will be available to perform post mortems, visits, or to dispense supplements or medication on these days. You can contact the on call duty vet by ringing your local PHS branch as usual.
We hope that the additional special bank holiday weekend provides an opportunity for people to come together to celebrate The King’s Coronation.

Keep your birds hydrated– Spring OFFER

This is particularly important at day old and at thinning/depletion as well as in naturally ventilated houses.
